| I am writing to commend the service we received from Boston Volvo Village...We drove our S80 T6 to Boston last Friday to visit our son, and shortly before getting to our hotel, the cruise control went out, and the car began idling badly. After a series of calls, we were able to drive it to Boston Volvo Village. We entered the service area at 4:00PM on Friday afternoon with much trepidation as any visit to a service center generally takes a lot of time, especially on a Friday afternoon with no advance notice. Jason patiently listened to our tale of woe and handed the car over to Sal, the service technician. After a short wait, Sal gave us the good news that it was nothing major, but the throttle sleeve had come off and once the car cooled down, they would put it back on and we would be back on the road. Relief washed over us as we realized our weekend with our son could go on as planned. True to their word, Sal and Jason came back 30 minutes later with the keys to our freshly washed and repaired automobile and sent us on our way, all without charging us a dime. We could not properly express our gratitude to Jason and Sal, but wanted you to know what outstanding professionals they are and what a credit to Volvo they are. My only regret is that Boston Volvo Village is in Boston and not Akron, OH. |

We purchased a vehicle from Boston Volvo Village in August. We hadn’t purchased a vehicle from a dealer since 1988. Upon advice of a friend, we went to Boston Volvo Village. From the moment we walked in the door, it was nothing but a pleasant experience. Our salesman was courteous, informative, and focused on our needs. We went intending to purchase an XC90 or XC70; we quickly found those would not meet our needs. He stayed with us for numerous test drives and visits. He seemed to know everything about the vehicles; we eventually settled on a 2005 S80 T6 and couldn’t be happier. We are also hoping to retire my 1995 960 wagon next summer and purchase a V70R. We will certainly give a call when that time comes based upon our experience and satisfaction this year. |

| Recently my 2004 V70R was returned to me by members of your department in perfect working order. I had brought the vehicle in for a number of electrical maladies which took some time to diagnose and also took an inordinate amount of time to receive the proper replacement parts. It was a long haul, nearly six weeks, but Boston Volvo Village Service kept me on the road throughout the wait with a very nice xc70 and with frequent updates. This was an unusual case, yet it was deftly handled and its details were well communicated to me. I had a great experience; the tech was on time, answered my questions, was able to diagnose and repair my vehicle, and the problem appears to be solved. | I want to again applaud the wonderful service at Boston Volvo Village. My wife recently brought in our cross country in for service and was treated wonderfully. The old adage about auto deals treating women as second class citizen does not happen at Boston Volvo. Then, they told her about the Mobile tech. John Higgins came yesterday and replaced the steering wheel- and also noticed we had picked up a nail- he filled the tire which allowed me to get to service to have tire repaired-otherwise I would have been changing a flat! He is great and deserves a raise! Also, when we bring the Volvo into you, we don’t leave with an $800 bill (as happens consistently with our Jeep!). We appreciate the service and it means we will return to Boston Volvo Village when it is time to buy another vehicle. |
