Volvo Cars sees 10 percent growth in Americas for 2019 Year

If you needed another reason why to consider buying a new Volvo, here it is.

Volvo Cars Americas sees a major growth in 2019. With a 10 percent increase over the previous year, Volvo Cars is excited to see popularity increase in US, Canada, and Latin America. While 2018 was a solid year with 108,234 vehicle sales, 2019 outperformed 2018 sales by about 25,000 cars (133,828 vehicles sold for the 2019 year).

Here at Boston Volvo Cars, we're proud to be apart of the luxury-laden, Volvo Cars brand. Whether you're in the market for a versatile family SUV or you're looking for a suave, sport personal vehicle, there's likely at least one unit in our vehicle lineup to suit your needs.

New Volvo Vehicle Lineup

The Volvo vehicle lineup consists three SUVs: XC40, XC60, and the XC90; to sedans: S60 and the S90; and two wagons: V60 and the V90.

The most compact SUV in the Volvo lineup is the XC40, which features seating for up to five passengers, a relatively compact cabin, and a host of nifty tech and comfort features. The XC60 is the most spacious dedicated five-passenger SUV in the vehicle lineup with a longer wheelbase than the XC40. Also, while the XC40 comes with two engine options, it doesn't include a hybrid engine option which is available with the XC60 and the XC90. The largest of the three SUVs, the XC90, includes seating for up to seven passengers (with an available six-passenger configuration).

The sedan lineup features the sleek and sporty S60 and S90. The S60 is the smaller of the two, but that's not to say it's a small vehicle. Indeed, the S60 offers Cambridge, MA drivers seating for five while also providing three engine options (the same three engines available with the XC60 and XC90).
